Bibliography
This will be where all citations are maintained for anyone interested in the primary, secondary, and tertiary sources used in my research. Many of these sources have been scanned and PDF versions will be included both here and in the relevant posts. The only source(s) not to be made available via PDF will be any actively in print books. If you have any questions regarding sources feel free to comment, message, or email me!
Books:
Rauh, Charles. 2016. The Last Train Robber - The True Tail of Jack “The Quail Hunter” Kennedy. USA: Amazon CreateSpace.
Rabas, Chuck. 1996. Jack "Quail Hunter" Kennedy. United States: Eakin.
Patterson, Richard. 1991. The Train Robbery Era: An Encyclopedic History
Newspapers:
Newspapers are by far the most common source when tracking Jack’s story. As such, I’ve compiled them in a separate Google Doc to not clog up this article. All citations are linked to their online databases, most often the Internet Archive or NewsBank’s Kansas City Star collection. I have also downloaded and collected all of the cited articles in another Google Drive link provided below.
